Privacy Choices

Use these controls to manage permissions, visibility, communications, Contact Defense, and requests about your Tor2Me information.

Last updated: August 7, 2026
The choices available to you can depend on your device, account status, and local law. Tor2Me may verify account ownership before completing a data request.

1. Profile and discovery

  • Edit your profile information, photos, interests, relationship goals, and discovery preferences in the app.
  • Use privacy features such as blocking, pausing, incognito, or ghost mode when available for your plan.
  • Turn precise location access off in Android settings. Distance-based features may then be limited.

2. Contacts and Contact Defense

Contact Defense is optional. Before Android asks for contacts permission, Tor2Me explains how the feature works. Names are not uploaded. Selected phone numbers are sent over an encrypted connection and immediately converted by the server into protected keyed one-way identifiers; persistent Contact Defense records contain those identifiers rather than address-book names or readable phone numbers.

You can deny or revoke contacts permission in Android settings. To request removal of stored Contact Defense identifiers before deleting your account, contact privacy support from the email or phone number associated with the account.

3. Notifications and communications

Manage Tor2Me notification categories inside the app and use Android notification settings for device-level control. Essential account, safety, billing, or security messages may still be sent when necessary to operate or protect the service.

4. Access, correction, and deletion requests

  • Use the app to correct profile and account details that are editable.
  • Request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection where applicable law provides that right.
  • Pause your account in the app or follow the Account Deletion instructions for permanent deletion.

5. Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

Tor2Me does not currently sell personal information for money or use this public website for cross-site targeted advertising. If those practices change, Tor2Me will update its notices and provide any legally required opt-out mechanism.

6. Submit a privacy request

Email laarjamesmustapha@gmail.com and state the request clearly. Include the email address or phone number connected to the account, but do not send a password, verification code, payment-card number, or unnecessary identity document in the first message.
